This series was greatly inspired by the colours of South Africa. All these houses were so bright, colourful and full of life. This was the main inspiration to work on this project.
I wanted to create something graphical but at the same time show life. All the backgrounds of the houses were shot in South Africa. The composition, the light and the extreme use of shadows give an abstract double take to each image. The models have later been captured in the studio in Amsterdam.
Coloured has been awarded with a Silver PANL and a Silver AOP award.
